IN THE MOUNTAINS

Last weekend I tagged along with my girlfriends family for a weekend in the Mountains.  Ella's sister and boyfriend live on Mt Arthur - 30 mins out of Launceston city.  The property is 96 acres of forrest with to 2 houses built by father & son along side a very impressive veggie patch bigger than your local fruit & veg store.  It was a relaxing weekend full of rad food & beer.

GG SEQQY

Sessioned the city park with my homie GG today.  Had never shot a sequence and thought it was about time to learn - who better to trial with than George (George does everything first shot, every shot).  Turned out alright - I'll keep working on them!

E M N PUBLISHED

My Beautiful girlfriend has just had her first book published - A small flip book containing 50 ink drawings of a morphing creature titled "BLOOM" you can see some of Ella's work here -

PIZZA & SLAPPYS

Got the message from the homies Pizza night and the Curbs was on.  I had never shot photos at night before & I learnt a whole bunch - including my eye view itself was out of focus haha, but the snaps turned out alright and the session had was good times! hopefully a re occurring event.  To be honest I felt a little Ninja Turtle like.

NOT SO CRIPPLE

The weather was harsh this weekend!  But with my foot healed after almost 6 months of injury I was keener than ever to get back on the board.  Kitted up with a fresh board, wheels, shoes and a saturday morning full of classic skate parts I was bumming on the rain.  Organised a posse of homies to skate these amazing slappy metal curbs in an under cover car park which we ended up sessioning for 5 - 6 hours - Unfortunately I didn't snap any photos but I did get some from today's park session - Hooves had his Airwalks down just before the rain came to ruin the party.  If there is one thing I have learnt these past few months is don't take the simplest things for granted because you never know when it can all be taken from you - deep huh.
