SHRED FOR SHANE

Held last Saturday at Taroona skatepark, one of the raddest day of skateboarding I personally have been apart of - To begin the weather couldn't have been any better! The sun was out and everyone took advantage, mad crew/cheer squad/beer and BBQ mediators on the hill, minimal scooters through out the day and a rad load of shredding.  There were around 50-60 people that visited during the day with a steady crew of 30 which meant there was always someone on the park shredding when you were sitting back sipping on beers in the shade. The session went non stop from 2 - 8:30 with the Launceston posse rocking up around 4:30 putting on a show for all the worn and torn skaters from the earlier sessions.  Big thanks to everyone who came down chilled! Big thanks to Dix for hooking a board up - which Oscar took home for a manual round the bowl to flip out - rad stuff! Big ups to Brother Krez on the BBQ, Big ups to all the homies shooting on my camera (snaps below) and the other who were shooting! Big ups to Tony Hawk for the boom box, Big ups to James James for filming (clip out soon) and MEGA ups to all the homies out there shredding in the heat !!!
BIG LOVE! wetheloons -
