THE SKATE GYPSY + 2 AUSTRIANS

I recently had the pleasure of hosting The street legend, Doctor Nick and Alex around the apple isle.
I had never met the 3 prior - But I had contacted Troy a year or more ago noting how hyped I was on his blog which in fact was my main inspiration to create this space - so please check Troy's work - http://skategypsy.blogspot.com.au/

Day 1 - First Impressions

The Homies arrived early with high spirits and tales of the last weeks Melbourne abuse.  We packed the Subaru, dropped by the oyster farm and headed back to the abode.  After settling in and the sun beaming we went for a quick roll at the local city park, a few runs at the bowl and then hit the mission to Blackmens Bay - its somewhat similar to a DIY spot with lumpy tranny and obscure flow you must work out for yourself.  The heat was really on and our sweaty bodies needed the ocean - swim time.  I took the posse on a rock climbing mission to a cove opening where you can jump from the cliff facings - rad times were had at the spot.  After having a swim it was time to pick up some Ale's and see the view from the top - Mt Wellington, fitting in a bubblah (wait for the footage for an explanation) and a roof top session before a thick fog over top the mountain.  The homies bombed most of the way down to the bottom - watching the Austrians hill bomb was amazing!  It was dusk, everyone was hyped on the first sightings of Tassie and when we got home all the homies came over for a welcoming BBQ with a heap of food! MASSIVE DAY!
